The Ćulum family olive grove is located on the eastern slopes of the Biokovo hill, in the old town of PERKA, where the Vladimirović princes ruled for centuries. The olive grove is north protected by a hill, airy and sunny with a sea view. The altitude is 100-200m. In the orchards there are centuries-old olive trees exclusively of the cultivar oblica. There are 350 trees on 4 plots. Olive groves are traditionally grown without the use of chemicals, only homemade humus and manure. We pick the fruits in mid-October, by hand. On the same day, they are processed into a cold, 100 percent organic product.
Extra virgin olive oil, is green in color, has an intense scent on the green olive floor. The taste is moderately pleasantly bitter, intensely spicy and slightly aromatic. Precisely because of its specific and balanced taste and aroma, its useful value in gastronomy as a spice and medicine is unlimited. It is an excellent side dish to all green salads, it loves roasted meat and grilled fish. The spice is for shellfish and mushrooms which it gives an invaluable taste. If necessary, it can be used as a remedy for digestion and cough.
